Surprise, I'm back....Merry Christmas!

 Dear Family and Friends!

The rumors surrounding my demise are vastly exaggerated. It is true that I have not sent Christmas wishes for several years, but when you have 2 strokes in as many years that affects your eyes.....well, keeping in touch can be quite a challenge.

So - here is hoping that you have each done well in my absence. My thoughts have been with so many of you and my heart rejoices when I hear news from all or any of you.

It is hard to find the brain power or stamina to fill you in on the last few years, but I will share a few highlights:

My sweet Micah was married to a lovely gal - Ariel Tyhurst in June of 2022, and in May of this year they added baby Isaac, my 14th grandbaby, to their family with Eden, 17, Cosette, 14, and Caleb, 12. He is quite the cutie and his nearest cousin is 10 yrs old! What fun I am having with that! Ariel helped me fly down to SLC to help them out during the pregnancy and I flew down again for Isaac's blessing.

Nope - I can no longer drive. As some of you may know, losing your license puts a damper on your independence. Oh well, I am blessed with family and friends that are willing to haul me around. 💛

The photo above of our family was taken this summer during our family reunion in Cle Elum, Washington. We had a wonderful time, and the weather was lovely, too. Ammon could work from home so he came home with me after the reunion and spent a month being my eyes and super-hero helper. His wife Ailene and their two kids (Aden and Amaia) were only able to stay a few days, but I am thrilled when any of the family come to see me.

Autumn married Viraj Talwar in a beautiful Indian ceremony in Thailand in April 2024. The whole family attended, and we are so happy to welcome Viraj into the family! This month Autumn finished and defended her dissertation with distinction; I am so proud of her for the many years of hard work - we have a Dr. Brown in the family once again!

Haven lives in town so she has been a great blessing to me, running me to doctor appointments and helping me "see" to get groceries and many other things. I have so greatly appreciated her love and help. Now with her children growing up, she is looking to move on, so Ariel and Nathan have been looking at ways to help. For the near future, Ariel is moving in with me, and I expect there will be some commuting for her as well as Nathan. This will give Haven and her family a bit of a respite on trying to see to my needs as well as their own. I so appreciate their willingness to sacrifice for me. 💛

Dan and Sandra aka "Dandra" are still living in Brooklyn, but have added 2 incredibly cute fur babies to their family.

Dandra's Fur Babies!

Noble and Julian are living in Redmond, WA, and I love it when they are able to make it over the pass to visit in Noble's nifty Tesla. Julian is graduating high school this year and is a computer whiz like his dad. They have a darling cat named Sweetpea.

How richly I am blessed with kind and generous children, as well as loving and remarkable extended family and friends. I thank all of you for your goodness! May this Christmas season find you all well and happy, and may the Lord richly bless you and yours!

With love,

Jeanne
